Hearing Aids for Real Life YOU CAN COUNT ON
Hearing aids are so much more than devices at Central Utah Hearing & Balance. They are part of a complete, medically guided treatment plan in which every recommendation begins with a thorough hearing evaluation. This is followed by a conversation about your listening goals. Dr. Anderson works directly with each patient to make sure hearing aids fit comfortably while performing reliably as they enhance sounds that are part of your everyday life. Our focus is on helping you hear better, not just more.

Types of
HEARING AIDS

Receiver-in-Canal (RIC) or Receiver-in-the-Ear (RITE)
These styles are discreet, with the receiver placed inside the ear canal and linked to a small case that rests behind the ear. They provide natural sound quality and comfort.

Behind-the-Ear (BTE)
This is the most versatile and durable option. It sits behind the ear and connects to an earmold or tube that goes into the ear canal. It is perfect for various levels of hearing loss and is easy to use.

In-the-Ear (ITE)
Custom-made to fit the outer part of the ear, ITEs deliver excellent sound clarity and are easy to handle. They are suitable for mild to severe hearing loss.

In-the-Canal (ITC)
These are smaller than ITE models and partially fit in the ear canal. They strike a nice balance between discretion and usability.

Completely-in-the-Canal (CIC)
This option fits entirely inside the ear canal, making it nearly invisible. It is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a low-profile design for mild to moderate hearing loss.

Invisible-in-the-Canal (IIC)
The smallest style around, IICs fit deep within the canal for total discretion. Despite their tiny size, they provide impressive sound clarity for appropriate hearing ranges.

Beyond Devices
We believe successful hearing aid use depends on long-term care. Every patient receives continued support for cleaning, repairs, and any needed adjustments. Regular check-ins allow us to update programming as your hearing or lifestyle changes.
We further provide aural rehabilitation services that are education and exercise-focused to help your brain adjust to the amplified sound. These follow-up visits often make the difference between hearing aids that simply work and hearing aids that truly transform communication.
